Who Is Homeport?
A credit union like
ours is a co-operative financial institution, owned by
the members and intended to encourage thrift, provide a
source of credit for all practical purposes, and help
insure members financial security. Homeport Federal
Credit Union, like all federal credit unions is
chartered and supervised by the federal government's
National Credit Union Administration. The National
Credit Union Administration insures the deposits of
every member to the full legal limit.

Membership
Membership is now open to
anyone that lives, works, worships, attends school, or
does business in Nueces
County. Membership is a lifetime benefit provided by in
the credit union bylaws "once a member, always a Member"
so even if you re-locate from Nueces County you will
retain your membership.
